WARNER ROBINS — A Norfolk Southern train blocked two intersections along Ga. 247 in Warner Robins for about an hour Thursday afternoon.
The train had stretched across the crossings at the Green Street and Watson Boulevard intersections at Ga. 247, forcing many motorists to turn around and find another route.
Robin Chapman, manager of public relations for Norfolk Southern, said the train was stopped for the repair of a broken crossing arm. The train was manually waved through the crossing, he said.
The train stopped shortly after 1 p.m. and started moving again at about 2:10.
