Safety day in Warner Robins set for Saturday

A Family Safety Day, scheduled for Saturday in Warner Robins, will feature child safety checks, child identification kits and pet adoptions, Warner Robins police Capt. John Clay said.

The event, hosted by Home Depot and Warner Robins police, is from 2-6 p.m. at Home Depot at 2620 Watson Blvd. in Warner Robins.

Most of the activities are free and offer food and drinks, live music, clowns and face painting.

Pet adoption fees are $64 for male cats, $87 for female cats, $89 for male dogs and $94 for female dogs. The fees include spaying or neutering and rabies shots.

Police and fire vehicles will be on display.

In addition, Home Depot will hold free kids workshops starting at 8 a.m.
