Pedestrian hurt when hit by car

WARNER ROBINS — A pedestrian was seriously injured and taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia after being struck by a car Saturday night at Cornelia Drive and Peachtree Circle, Lt. Todd Edwards of the Warner Robins police department said.

Jason Layman, 23, of Warner Robins, was walking down Cornelia Drive about 9:40 p.m. when he was struck by a white, four-door vehicle. The vehicle continued south on Cornelia Drive.

Layman was taken to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition Sunday. Edwards said the victim broke his leg.
