WR woman badly hurt in wreck

WARNER ROBINS — A woman is in critical condition at The Medical Center of Central Georgia after a traffic accident Sunday.

Roshanda Moore Gordon, 34, of Warner Robins, was listed in critical condition in the hospital’s neurological intensive care unit after suffering severe trauma.

Lt. Todd Edwards of the Warner Robins Police Department said witnesses said they saw Gordon’s 2001 Mercedes E-320 traveling east on Feagin Mill Road toward Lake Joy Road about 11:25 a.m. Ty Lynn Locke, 31, of Warner Robins, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet C1500 traveling south on Lake Joy Road in the outside lane approaching the intersection. Witnesses said the Mercedes failed to stop at a traffic signal and collided with the truck.

Gordon had to be removed from her car by members of the Warner Robins Fire Department. Locke was taken to the Houston Medical Center where he was treated and released.

The Warner Robins Police Department is still investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Edwards at 293-1037 or 929-1170.
