Event in Warner Robins to honor public safety sector, military

WARNER ROBINS — A free breakfast will be held July 4 in Warner Robins to honor area public safety personnel, military and veterans.

The breakfast, which is open to the public, is from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Christ Chapel, 2288 Moody Road, co-organizer Jacob Cox said.

Lt. Tommy Neiman, a firefighter and paramedic with the St. Lucie Fire District in Fort Pierce, Fla., will be the guest speaker.

Neiman is the author of “Sirens For The Cross,” a book of inspirational short stories based on calls that he responded to and the love and power of God at work in those situations. Warner Robins firefighter Greg Fetz will provide special music.

After the breakfast, participants will have the opportunity to view public safety and military equipment and vehicles on display, Cox said. Sponsors include Chick-fil-A of Warner Robins and Dunkin’ Donuts of Warner Robins. For more information, call the church office at (478) 922-0161.
