Robins Air Force Base officials confirmed Friday that Brenda Romine, currently the executive director of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, will be retiring in July.
Her departure means that four senior positions at the center will change hands over the next several months. The base previously announced the reassignment of Brig. Gen. Mark Atkinson, 402nd Maintenance Wing commander, and Col. Warren Berry, 78th Air Base Wing commander, along with the retirement of Col. Kenneth Sharpless, the inspector general.
Col. Lee Levy II will replace Atkinson while Col. Carl Buhler will replace Berry. Col. John Cote will be the new inspector general.
No replacement has been named for Romine. The executive director serves as the senior ranking civilian employee at the center. Romine, an Oklahoma native, has held the slot since last year.
The East Central University graduate served as the 542nd Combat Sustainment Wing director at Robins before assuming her current position. She was the deputy director of logistics for Air Mobility Command before coming to Robins.
