Robber's face seen on surveillance video in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS — In Wednesday night’s armed robbery of a Warner Robins convenience store, the robber’s face is captured on the store’s surveillance video before he pulls out his gun and pulls on his mask, surveillance video released by police shows.

Described as a black male, age 34 to 36, standing 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium build, the robber walked into the Petro Convenience Store at 801 S. Davis Drive at 8:45 p.m. and brandished a handgun, police said.

He was wearing a black stocking cap, dark blue hooded jacket, black T-shirt, faded jeans and white tennis shoes.

He demanded cash and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, Warner Robins police detective Art Curnutte said Thursday. The robber was seen getting into a white vehicle, possibly a Toyota Corolla or Camry, with no hub caps, the detective said.

No one was injured and police are asking for help in identifying the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Curnutte at 918-2977 or 929-1170.
