The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. at the church, which hosted Sondron’s visitation and funeral.

Smallwood will be buried at Prosperity Church Cemetery in Rupert.

The procession will leave the Byron Police Department at 10 a.m. and head to Rooks Funeral Home using the North Carolina Troopers Caisson, according to a Byron police release.

From the funeral home, the procession will travel down Gralan Drive to Linda Drive, to New Dunbar Road, to Ga. 49 and then south on Interstate 75 to Russell Parkway to South Houston Lake Road to Southside Baptist Church.
