Float your ideas for Cherry Blossom Parade
Hundreds of people line streets in downtown Macon each March for the annual Cherry Blossom Parade.
By thinking pink, you might leave your mark on the event that is one of the festival’s most popular.
Through Sept. 8, the Cherry Blossom Festival wants to hear theme ideas for the 35th annual parade next year.
Email suggestions to Brandi Marks, the event coordinator for the 2017 parade at bmarks@cherryblossom.com.
All themes must include the word “pink” to be eligible.
The winning theme will be announced Sept. 25 and will be included in advertisements about the festival.
