Woman dies in Putnam County crash

A woman died in a single-car crash in Putnam County on Saturday.

Lauren Marie Clark, 23, of Putnam County, died at the scene, according to a release from Sheriff Howard Sills.

The accident happened at 3:22 p.m. in the 500 block of Pea Ridge Road. Clark was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox that left the road and crashed into several trees. She was ejected from the vehicle.
