A shoplifting suspect wheeled out of a west Macon Wal-Mart parking lot Sunday night in a gray Chevy Impala.
But someone there got the tag number, and before long the cops pulled the car over.
According to a Bibb County sheriff’s report the suspect, a 23-year-old man, had $40 worth of merchandise from the Harrison Road Wal-Mart “on his person.”
His loot? Five sports bras.
The suspect, Marquez Veal, of Corbin Avenue in Macon, was later identified by a store employee as the culprit, the report said.
The report added that security-camera footage showed Veal “concealing female bras on his person.”
He was charged with shoplifting.
