Three people were taken to the hospital following a multiple vehicle accident on Interstate 475 late Thursday evening.

The pileup blocked all southbound lanes at mile marker 9 near the Tucker Road overpass from about 11:30 p.m. until about 3:30 a.m. Friday, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

One woman was in critical but stable condition at Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Anyone with information is urged to call a traffic investigator at 478-751-7500.
