Are coyotes lurking in your neighborhood? Or are raccoons rifling through your trash?
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is offering a workshop that teaches proper trapping techniques to remove nuisance wildlife.
On June 13 from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Ocmulgee Public Fishing Area near Cochran, workers with DNR’s Wildlife Resources Division and members of the Georgia Trappers Association will teach ways to trap coyotes, beaver, raccoons and opossums.
Lunch is included in the $35 fee for the workshop, which is open to those 12 and older.
To register for one of 40 available slots, call 770-784-3059.
