Three candidates who maintain they won seats on the board of directors for The Lake Wildwood Association in March are asking a judge to confirm their election.
Jeff Bone, George Catlett and Gilbert Foote allege they received enough votes to become board members, but board president Craig Anderson nullified the election, according to a complaint for declaratory judgement, filed Wednesday in Bibb County Superior Court.
Reached by phone Thursday, Anderson declined comment, saying he hadn’t seen a copy of the court filing.
Bone, Catlett and Foote maintain the March 21 election abided by the association’s bylaws, according to the court filing. They contend they don’t know why results were thrown out.

The men additionally filed a motion for a temporary restraining order, asking that a judge issue an injunction limiting the activities of the current board.
A phone message left for the lawyer representing Bone, Catlett and Foote was not returned Thursday.
The Lake Wildwood community includes about 1,700 homes and is located in northwest Bibb County.
