A story in Wednesday’s Telegraph mischaracterized a transaction involving Strathcona Energy Group and MAGE SOLAR. The Dublin distribution location was not purchased. In fact, SEG only bought a portion of MAGE SOLAR’S assets in Dublin.

The same story states that Germany and the U.S. regulate solar differently, but did not make it clear that SEG spokeswoman Susanne Quinn was comparing the two countries in her comments. Her full quote was: “The solar market in the United States is not subsidized, not incentivized like it is in Germany.”
