Fallen trees trigger Macon power outages

More than 450 customers were without electricity early Thursday in separate neighborhoods in Macon.

Fallen trees are to blame in both instances.

Georgia Power reports 414 customers without electricity near Forsyth Road and Zebulon Road, but crews expect to restore service by 7 a.m.

Another dozen customers were affected a little farther north on Forsyth Road, but could be restored by 6:45 a.m.

In southeast Macon, a little more than a two dozen customers were without power near Worsham Avenue in Lynmore Estates.

Those outages are expected to be restored by 6:30 a.m.
