A traditional Christmas, complete with snow, will return to Mercer Village on Thursday evening.
The College Hill Alliance is again hosting Christmas in the Corridor from 5-10 p.m., featuring carolers, local merchants, food and a snow slide, according to an announcement from Jessica Walden, director of communications & outreach for the College Hill Alliance.
The free public event will start with s’mores and singing, Walden said. People are asked to bring a toy to donate to the Kids Yule Love Foundation.
The Well Reds will perform, and Mercer University’s Christmas tree will be lighted on the campus quad in a ceremony that starts at 6 p.m. In the corridor, there will be an art display of Christmas greetings at 8 p.m., and a market of Macon-made products will be available for gift shopping, according to the announcement.
