If you’d like a spot on The Telegraph 2014 Children’s Christmas Tree, it’s time to apply.
One hundred names will be selected, along with the names of 25 alternates, and the parents of those children will be notified later this month.
The guidelines for eligibility are:
The children must be 2 to 6 years of age and must live in The Telegraph’s circulation area.
Children can appear on the tree just once. Those who have previously been featured are ineligible.
Only one request per child may be submitted.
If more than one child in the same family meets eligibility requirements, the names of each child may be submitted, but all of their names must be submitted in one e-mail.
Do not send a picture. A photo session will be scheduled later for children who are selected for the 2014 tree.
To submit your child’s name, send an e-mail to Paulette Fountain (firstname.lastname@example.org) with Children’s Christmas Tree 2014 in the subject line, as well as the following information:
1. The name the child goes by, not the full name.
2. The child’s birthday, including the year.
3. The name of each parent (John and Jane Doe, not Mr. and Mrs. John Doe).
4. A home telephone number and at least one cellphone number for the parent or parents.
Emails submitted without all of this information will be discarded. A photo session will be scheduled in November for the children selected.
