The funeral service for former Bibb County Commissioner Albert Billingslea will be held at noon Saturday at the City Auditorium.
Billingslea died at home Sunday morning. He was 82.
Billingslea was one of the first two black men to serve on the commission. He and Bill Randall were elected in 1980, and he served for 16 years. Billingslea also ran a construction company for decades and was a former president of the Macon NAACP chapter.
