A Macon man is accused of two armed robberies, police said.
Gerald Dewayne McClendon, 28, was arrested Tuesday and charged with Monday’s armed robbery of the Flash Foods at 4314 Pio Nono Ave. in Macon, according to a Macon police news release.
McClendon was also charged with the armed robbery of the Circle K on Chambers Road on Monday, which is a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office case, the release stated.
The arrest stems from a combined effort of the Macon Police Department and the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the release stated.
McClendon had 18 previous arrests dating back to 2002, the release stated.
He was being held Tuesday at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
