A Macon man told police Saturday that he was struck several times and that his vehicle was damaged while he was driving along Cynthia Avenue, a report said.
The victim told officers he was driving about 6 p.m. when several men assaulted him with fists, feet and a bottle as he tried to flee. The men allegedly broke the back window and the driver’s side window.
However, the report noted that 10 witnesses told officers that the victim wasn’t driving in his car. They said he was standing behind the vehicle, observing a group of children and masturbating.
Neither the victim nor the witnesses could identify who attacked the man and damaged his vehicle. None of the witnesses was willing to give officers a signed statement.
No one has been charged, and the case remains under investigation.
