An Austin Avenue man was bitten by a dog about 8 p.m. Monday while cutting grass in the 3300 block of Guthrie Drive, according to Macon police.
The 22-year-old man told police a neighbor’s dog jumped up on a fence and bit him on the right elbow.
The dog was on a leash at the time of the bite, according to a police report.
The man was taken to Coliseum Northside Hospital by ambulance.
The dog’s owner told police the dog has never been aggressive, according to the report.
