Macon man shot with pellet gun

A Macon man was treated Saturday at The Medical Center of Central Georgia after being shot three times with a pellet gun while walking near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Ingleside Avenue, according to Macon police.

The man told officers he was walking on Riverside Drive at about 5:30 p.m. when a man jumped out of a black Ford Expedition and shot him three times — once in the neck area and twice in the stomach, according to a police report.

An officer noted that the man had red marks on his body, but his injuries were minor.
