Dublin man killed in head-on accident

A 48-year-old Dublin man in a minivan died after driving head-on into a pickup Sunday night on U.S. 441 in Laurens County.

Anderson C. Wilson Jr. was traveling south in the northbound lanes when his 1993 Plymouth Voyager hit a Ford F-150 pickup in the east shoulder of the road at mile marker 13 shortly before 6:30 p.m., according to a report filed at the Georgia State Patrol post in Dublin.

The driver of the pickup, James Comer of Moultrie, suffered a head injury and was taken to Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, the report stated.
