Shoplifter pulls knife on Macon store clerk

Macon police are searching for two men who shoplifted items at the Family Dollar at 951 Hillcrest Blvd. Tuesday afternoon, according to a report. One of the men drew a knife on a clerk when they attempted to leave the store.

According to the report, a man and a second man dressed as a woman got a buggy in the store and picked up multiple items. As they attempted to leave the store without paying, a clerk stepped in front of them.

The man walked out but the second person pulled out a knife and threatened the clerk, who stepped aside.

The suspects crossed Hillcrest to a path that leads to the dead end of Gordon Street.
