Driver’s license offices around Georgia will be closed four days this fall and winter as Department of Driver Services employees take furlough days to save the state money and help the department meet its budget.
According to the department, the license offices will be closed Oct. 22, Nov. 19, Dec. 18 this year and Jan. 28, 2010.
Many services, such as replacing a lost license or changing an address, can be handled online at www.dds.ga.gov.
