Woman charged with stealing from Macon doctor’s office

A 52-year-old Toomsboro woman has been charged with fiduciary theft after allegedly taking money from patients at a Macon doctor’s office and not posting the payment to their accounts, according to Macon police.

Patricia Ann Reynolds, an employee of Central Georgia Internal Medicine on First Street in Macon, was arrested Wednesday and is being held at the Bibb County jail on $35,200 bond, according to police and jail records.

Sgt. Melanie Hofmann said the theft totaled $3,262.57. The theft allegedly occurred on various dates in December 2008, police said.

Dr. Muhammad Rehan said Reynolds is no longer an employee at Central Georgia Internal Medicine.
