Woman stabs man in neck with pocket knife in Macon

A 21-year-old man was stabbed in the neck with a pocket knife early Saturday morning following an argument at a home in the 2000 block of Sharon Drive, according to the Macon police.

A woman told police she arrived home at about 3 a.m. and found her ex-boyfriend Tony Bernard Smith, of Edwards Avenue, on her bed, according to a police report released Monday.

The woman asked Smith to leave, but he beat her and kicked her in the face, according to the report.

Grabbing the nearest object, the woman used a pocket knife to get Smith off of her, according to the report.

The woman then ran to a neighbor’s house where the neighbor called 911, according to the report.
