Grand jury indicts two in Bibb murder case

A Bibb County grand jury has indicted two men in connection with the 2007 killing of a Macon teenager.

Gerald McIntosh, 21, of Atlanta, is charged with malice murder and felony murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old Antwan Brown, according to Bibb County Superior Court records.

A second man, whose identity is being withheld while an arrest warrant is being prepared, also was indicted on murder charges, according to court records.

McIntosh is accused of shooting Brown on Feb Avenue in Macon about a block away from Central High School off Holt Avenue on Aug. 6, 2007.

Brown, of Anthony Circle, suffered several gunshot wounds and later died at The Medical Center of Central Georgia.McIntosh was arrested on Aug. 10, 2007, and released on $100,000 bond on Nov. 19, 2007 with the understanding that he is banned from Bibb County except for court appearances, according to Bibb County jail records.
