A single shoe was lying in the middle of a west Macon road Tuesday night, a couple dozen feet from the cracked windshield of a gold Suzuki.
Victor Braulio, 30, of Macon was crossing Chambers Road near Nisbet Drive just after 7 p.m. when he stepped in front of a Suzuki SX4 driven by 20-year-old Autumn Jones, of Macon, who was traveling east on the road, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Braulio was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, to be treated for his injuries and was listed in stable condition Tuesday night. No one else was injured.
The accident is under investigation. Anyone with information about the accident is urged to contact the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
