What’s open, what’s not for Thanksgiving

Banks: Bank of America, BB&T, Bank Of The Ozarks, MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union, Renasant Bank, Robins Financial Credit Union, State Bank and Trust, SunTrust Bank and Wells Fargo will be closed Thursday. American Pride Bank, CB&T Bank of Middle Georgia, Colony Bank and SunMark Community Bank will be closed Thursday and will close at noon Friday. Capital City Bank will be closed Thursday and will close at 4 p.m. Friday. OneSouth Bank will be closed Thursday and will close at 2 p.m. Friday.

Government offices: Offices for the cities of Byron, Centerville, Fort Valley, Gray, Jeffersonville, Perry, Roberta and Warner Robins as well as offices for Macon-Bibb, Houston, Jones, Peach and Twiggs counties will be closed Thursday and Friday. The city of Forsyth and Crawford and Monroe counties will close at noon Wednesday and will be closed Thursday and Friday. The Department of Family and Children Services, the Labor Department and state court will be closed Thursday and Friday. Federal courts will be closed Thursday.

Mail delivery: No delivery Thursday.

Garbage: Garbage routes in the cities of Byron, Centerville, Fort Valley, Perry and Warner Robins as well as for Bibb, Crawford, Houston and Peach counties will not run Thursday and will be delayed by a day through Saturday. Bibb County residents may go online at http://bibbgis.co.bibb.ga.us/mbmgs/ to determine when their garbage is normally collected. The Macon-Bibb County landfill will be closed Thursday and Friday but will be open 8 a.m.-noon Saturday.

Libraries: The libraries in Houston and Peach counties will be closed Thursday and Friday. The Middle Georgia Regional Library and branches will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday and will be closed Thursday and Friday.
