Kroger plans to hire 2,000 people at its 185 stores, including those in midstate

Kroger is looking to fill 2,000 positions at its 185 stores across Georgia, South Carolina and eastern Alabama.

A job fair by the grocery chain continues Saturday and Sunday at all Kroger stores, according to a release. Positions are available for deli and bakery departments, baggers, cashiers and clerks.

Applicants should apply at before attending the job fair.

During the fair, applicants will be able to learn more about careers available with Kroger.

The job fair will be held from 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
