SeniorAdvisor.com released its winners for the Best of Senior Living 2015 Awards and Pinegate took home top prizes.
The website looked to the nearly 70,000 rankings and reviews that residents of the different facilities and their families have left on the site. Residents are able to rank each assisted- living home on a scale of one to five stars.
This facility currently has a 4.5-average ranking on the site.
Capital City Bank names new officer
Capital City Bank has named Joel Ginaldi senior vice president of the business banking department at its 325 Fifth St. office in Macon.
A Capital City banker since 2006, Ginaldi brings 12 years of experience in the industry.
Macon-Bibb County Health Department receives award
The Macon-Bibb County Health Department was presented a 2015 Buckle Up America Award by the Georgia Traffic Injury Prevention Institute, a part of The University of Georgia’s College of Family and Consumer Sciences Extension and the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
The award recognizes individuals, agencies, community and civic groups who work to reduce injuries and prevent fatalities in Georgia through involvement with traffic safety, seat belt and child safety seat awareness initiatives.
Geico promotes two to supervisor
Tammy Heath has been selected as a Midwest underwriting supervisor in the Macon Geico office. Heath began her career in 2000 as a sales representative.
Tara Fletcher has been promoted to a sales supervisor. Fletcher started her career in 2014 in the sales management development program.
All Care announces new director
Valerie Denney has joined All Care Home Health in Macon as the new director of senior care. She has a master’s degree in education and strong background in community-based care. One of her early focuses will be to build relationships with senior communities in Middle Georgia and to develop a veterans care program.
Krueger elected chairman of the board for ComSouth
Robert Krueger has been elected chairman of the board for ComSouth as successor to W. Mansfield Jennings Jr.
Krueger, who helped grow ComSouth into its current organization, joined ComSouth in 1984 and in 2003 was promoted to president and chief executive officer.
PlantersFirst taps Fountain as new CEO
Hawkinsville-based PlantersFirst, has appointed T. Heath Fountain as chief executive officer. Current CEO William Daniel will continue serving as president and as a director through the end of 2015.
Fountain most recently served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief executive officer of HeritageBank of the South in Albany. Fountain began his career in the banking industry in 1997.
Cyr, Sheridan and Stafford continue service on construction board
The Associated General Contractors of Georgia elected its 2015-16 Board of Directors last month. Dave Cyr, president of Parrish Construction Group Inc., continues to serve on the board after completing his presidency in the 2013-14 term.
Parrish Construction Group Inc. has been a member of the association since 2005. Chris Sheridan, chairman of the board of Sheridan & Co., will continue his service on the board this year. Sheridan also serves as the state liaison for the AGC of America Political Action Committee and an elected governor for AGC Georgia on the AGC of America Board of Directors.
Shawn Stafford, president of Stafford Builders & Consultants Inc., is currently serving his second year of a three-year term.
