Faces and Places: CGTC program receives accreditation

The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs voted to award initial accreditation to the emergency medical technician-paramedic associate degree programs at Central Georgia Technical College’s Macon campus.

The recent peer review recognized the program’s consistent compliance with nationally established accreditation standards. The accreditation status will be in place for five years.

Richard Ellis is the program chairman for the EMT program.

New manager at Robins FCU Fort Valley branch

Robins Federal Credit Union has named Blair Edwards as the Fort Valley branch manager.

Edwards has 16 years of banking experience and has been with Robins Federal for more than 15 years. She began her career with Robins Federal as a teller and has worked in several branch positions before getting promoted. She is from Peach County.

All Care Home Health promotes, hires

Misty Parham Lunsford, All Care Home Health LLC’s developmental disability professional, graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Arts in education, adult education and training. She has been promoted to vice president.

Marcia Mason was hired to serve as the senior care coordinator. Her responsibilities will include staff coordination, public relations and liaison to Medicaid programs.

State Bank names Leicht market president

State Bank and Trust Co. announced that Bruce Leicht has been named market president in Macon-Bibb County. Leicht will lead the team responsible for growing the State Bank commercial and personal banking lines of business.

Leicht has nearly 20 years of experience in the banking industry in Macon. Leicht holds a bachelor’s degree from Furman University and a master’s degree in business administration from Georgia College & State University.
