Art Barry and Patrick Barry awarded mentor/protege of year
Art Barry III and Patrick Barry with Coldwell Banker Commercial, Eberhardt & Barry Inc. have been awarded the Coldwell Banker Commercial2014 Mentor/Protege of the Year Award. Art Barry was a mentor to his son, Patrick Barry, during the emerging broker training program.
Patrick Barry attended Coldwell Banker Commercial headquarters in Madison, New Jersey, every six months in 2013-14 to receive sales training in conjunction with the mentoring program.
This award is presented to one Coldwell Banker Commercial team where a dedicated mentor has demonstrated leadership qualities by formally guiding a colleague to successful practices in the commercial real estate industry and a protege has demonstrated commitment and promise. Patrick finished first in his emerging broker training program in the spring of 2014.
Morris Bank named to top 100 list
Dublin-based Morris Bank was named to the SNL Financial Top 100 Best Performing Community Banks in the U.S. Morris Bank ranked 81 out of nearly 4,000 banks eligible for the recognition.
For this category, SNL Financial considered community banks with assets between $500 million and $5 billion and with 60 or fewer offices. Also at least one-third of the bank’s balance sheets must be composed of loans, less than half of which can be attributable to credit card lending. Banks must be well-capitalized and no more than half of revenue can come from non-traditional banking activities.
Robins FCU announces manager, employees first quarter
Each quarter, Robins Federal Credit Union selects three employees each quarter who represent the best of the best for manager, support department staff and branch staff. Employees are selected by management based on their outstanding work performance and written recommendations from their peers.
L.J. Quinn, the manager of Robins Federal’s Base branch, has been employed with Robins Federal Credit Union for 11 years.
Susanne Smith is a credit and collections specialist for Robins Federal Credit Union. She has been employed with Robins Federal for a little over a year.
Megan Flanders is a member service representative with Robins Federal Credit Union’s Swainsboro branch. She has been employed with Robins Federal for seven years and has previously worked as a teller.
Dublin-Laurens hires PR coordinator
The Dublin-Laurens County Development Authority hired Beatriz Lleras as the marketing and public relations coordinator. Lleras is a product of the Dublin City Schools system and is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia, where she double majored in communication studies and romance languages. She will focus primarily on marketing to targeted industry sectors throughout the world and assisting the development authority with public relations and communications strategies.
Koehnemann competes certification program
Barbara Jo Koehnemann, licensed marriage and family therapist, completed a certification in IMAGO relationship therapy in September. Koehnemann has a 12-year history of working with couples and families at Macon based Southern Behavioral Services.
English honored as a Georgia all-star insurance professional
The publication Insurance Market Intelligence honored Middle Georgia’s Adam English with Tidwell & Hilburn Insurance as an All-Star Insurance Professional.
English joined the firm four years ago. He attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia’s Young Agent Association.
