Charles Williams is the new interim president and CEO of the Eastman-Dodge County Chamber of Commerce and the Dodge County-Eastman Development Authority.
Williams is a lifelong resident of Dodge County.

Arnold named partner at Jones, Cork and Miller
Christopher Arnold has been named a partner with the law firm of Jones, Cork and Miller LLP. His practice is primarily focused on personal injury litigation, business litigation, insurance defense and general litigation.
Arnold is a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, and a 2008 graduate of the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law.
State Bank appoints chief banking officer
Mike Sims was appointed the bank’s executive vice president and chief banking officer for all banking functions in both Atlanta and Middle Georgia at State Bank and Trust Co.
Sims joined State Bank in March 2011 as executive vice president for the Atlanta market, and most recently served as senior banking officer for both Atlanta and Middle Georgia. Before to joining State Bank, he had served in several commercial banking leadership positions with SunTrust Banks Inc. since 2001.
Realtor office receives award
Coldwell Banker SSK Realtors, which has offices in Macon, Warner Robins and Milledgeville, was recently awarded Coldwell Banker’s prestigious President’s Award of Honor designation.
The real estate operation was one of 64 out of about 900 firms in the Coldwell Banker network to be recognized with the designation.
