What’s open, what’s not for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Banks: American Pride Bank, Bank of America, BB&T, Capital City Bank, CB&T Bank of Middle Georgia, CertusBank, Colony Bank, Heritage Bank of the South, MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union, Robins Federal Credit Union, State Bank and Trust, SunMark Community Bank and Wells Fargo will be closed Monday. SunTrust Bank’s traditional branches will be closed Monday, but its in-store branches will be open.

Government offices: Offices for the cities of Byron, Centerville, Forsyth, Fort Valley, Gray, Jeffersonville, Perry and Warner Robins as well as offices for Macon-Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach and Twiggs counties will be closed Monday. The Division of Family and Children Services, the Labor Department, state courts and federal courts will be closed Monday.

Mail: Delivery will not run Monday.

Garbage: Garbage routes in the cities of Byron, Centerville, Perry and Warner Robins as well as for Crawford, Houston and Peach counties and the former unincorporated Bibb County will run on schedule Monday. Garbage routes in Fort Valley and in Macon’s former city limits will not run Monday and will run one day behind.

Libraries: The libraries in Houston and Peach counties will be closed Monday. The Middle Georgia Regional Library and branches will be closed Sunday and Monday.
