Chris Clark has been selected for the 21st edition of “The Best Lawyers in America” in the practice area of personal injury litigation, plaintiffs and has been named the Best Lawyers’ 2014-15 for Macon’s lawyer of the year for personal injury litigation for plaintiffs.

Three Middle Georgians named to Georgia leadership class
Daylon Martin, director of Neighborhood Academy, a daycare center; David Mincey, an attorney with Mincey & Mincey LLC in Roberta; and Josh Rogers, president and CEO of NewTown Macon Inc., have been named to the Leadership Georgia class of 2015.
Leadership Georgia is a 43-year-old organization of community and state leaders which trains and builds a network of emerging young leaders from across Georgia. Sixty-three participants were selected this year from a pool of several hundred applicants.
With a principal focus on the theme, “Georgia on the Rise,” this class will travel to Brasstown Valley, Thomasville, Jekyll Island, Statesboro and Atlanta.The business development committee of the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce recognized Daisy Patch Flowers as its business of the month for December. Penny Stapleton is the owner of the business at 1131 Macon Road in Perry.
Breast Care Center designated Center of Excellence
Breast Care Center, Navicent Health, has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.
By awarding facilities the status of a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and breast ultrasound, including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.
Two promoted at Geico
Tamara Joiner has been promoted to the Geico Southeastern management team as the regional liability claims trainer. She started in 1991 as a sales representative and has more than 17 years of management experience.
Brandyce Alcindor has been selected as a Geico regional management trainer. She started her career in the Macon office in 2008.
