What’s open, what’s not for Thanksgiving

Banks: Bank of America, BB&T, Capital City Bank, CertusBank, MidSouth Community Federal Credit Union, Robins Federal Credit Union, State Bank and Trust, SunTrust Bank and Wells Fargo will be closed Thursday. American Pride Bank, CB&T Bank of Middle Georgia and SunMark Community Bank will be closed Thursday and will close at noon Friday. Colony Bank will be closed Thursday and will close at 1 p.m. Friday. Heritage Bank of the South will be closed Thursday and Friday.

Government offices: Offices for the cities of Byron, Centerville, Forsyth, Fort Valley, Gray, Jeffersonville, Perry and Warner Robins as well as offices for Macon-Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach and Twiggs counties will be closed Thursday and Friday. The Division of Family and Children Services as well as the Labor Department will be closed Thursday and Friday. State courts and federal courts will be closed Thursday.

Mail: Will not be delivered Thursday.

Garbage: Garbage routes in the cities of Byron, Centerville, Fort Valley, Perry and Warner Robins will not run Thursday and will run on Friday.

Garbage routes for the former unincorporated Bibb County, as well as for Houston, Jones, Peach and Monroe counties will not run Thursday and routes will run one day behind through Saturday. Garbage routes in Macon’s former city limits will not run Thursday and will run on Friday instead.

Libraries: The libraries in Houston and Peach counties and Middle Georgia Regional Library and branches will be closed Friday.
