Lineage Logistics, a warehousing and logistics company, announced Friday that it has acquired Stanford Refrigerated Warehouses, a third-party warehousing logistics company headquartered in Macon, according to a news release.
Lineage said the acquisition of Stanford, 235 Northwest Industrial Blvd., will enhances its presence and capacity in the Southeast region to support its food producers.
Based in Colton, California, Lineage is the third largest refrigerated warehouse company in North America, based on data from the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses, the news release stated.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Stanford Refrigerated, a family business with more than 30 years experience, was previously owned by CEO Brent Stanford. The company provided frozen and refrigerated storage, blast freezing, import-export services, container trans-loading, and domestic distribution services for food-related companies, the news release stated.
