Bartlett and his wife, who also own several other businesses, purchased a 30,000-square-foot warehouse in Byron.
“We were trying to decided what to do with this big building,” Bartlett said.
The couple decided to open Peach Auction Sales.
The business specializes in auctions of classic cars, antiques, heavy equipment, restaurant equipment as well as amusements, including pool tables, juke boxes and games.
“I was going to a lot of classic car auctions. I’m just an auction person,” he said.
Bartlett recently received his auctioneers license and will conduct the auctions at Peach Auction Sales.
