Danish lawmakers look at workforce development in Macon

Members of the Danish Parliament get a tour of the production floor of the LH Thomson company in south Bibb County from company president Brian Thomson, second from right, Thursday afternoon. The officials were on a tour of a number of area businesses to learn about the ways skilled labor needs are met locally. Thomson employee Timothy Johns, right, working on parts of a Boeing 787 blower motor, is receiving a large chunk of his pay from the Macon-Bibb County Office of Workforce Development while still in on the job training.
