The Telegraph and USA Today announced a new partnership that will combine home delivery subscriptions of the newspapers.
The Telegraph has been working on the deal for a couple of months, said Telegraph Publisher George McCanless.
“It was based on feedback I was getting in the community from people who were saying ‘It would be great if I could get it home delivered to complement The Telegraph,’ ’’ McCanless said. “So we approached USA Today and asked them if they would work with us on this. ... It’s sort of a one-of-a-kind program, and if it works here I think it’s one that they’ll want to use in other markets.”
Seven-day home delivery subscribers of The Telegraph may add USA Today at a discounted price.
The Telegraph is owned by The McClatchy Co,, the third largest newspaper publisher in the United States. USA Today has a daily print circulation of more than 1.8 million. To learn more call (800) 679-6397.
