Unusual dance performance planned for Macon Mall

Macon Mall plans to kick off the holiday season on one of the busiest shopping days of the year with a choreographed dancing display.

The “Spread the Cheer” dance program will include more than 40 dancers from the Phillips Performing Arts Group, according to a news release. The event will be held 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday at the food court at the mall, 3661 Eisenhower Parkway.

“Unsuspecting customers will quickly realize they are part of a live performance that will be staged that morning,” according to the release. “As the dance progresses, customers will be enticed to become part of the performance.”
