These are the Macon-area cities with lowest cost of living in Middle GA. Which is on top?

If you’re looking to buy or rent a home or apartment in the Macon area, there’s a new online study that shows which cities in Middle Georgia have the cheapest cost of living.

Niche published a study titled 2022 Places with the Lowest Cost of Living in the Columbus, GA Area that examines cost of living in our area.

Niche analyzes cities based on a plethora of factors, some of which include affordability, public school rating, higher education rate, diversity, access to healthcare, employment rates, nightlife, crime and safety ratings and weather. Niche then assigns each city a grade.

The study also includes several reviews from current and past residents.

So, which Middle Georgia city has the lowest cost of living? Here’s the top 5:

Warner Robins

Overall Niche Grade: A-

Pros: diversity, jobs, weather, housing, good for families and overall cost of living

Cons: crime, safety and health and fitness

Gray

Overall Niche Grade: B+
