Warner Robins business acquires new company

Warner Robins-based Advanced Core Concepts has acquired ACTA, a California-based engineering and technical services firm.

The West-coast company specializes in “risk mitigation analysis for operations that possess the potential for extraordinarily severe consequences, including space launch operations, spacecraft re-entry and airspace integration, missile defense intercepts, mass ordnance storage, and energetic chemical and nuclear material processing,” according to a release.

The acquisition enables Advanced Core Concepts to strengthen its position as a small business provider of analytical engineering and software development services and technical support to the Department of Defense and other federal and commercial customers.

The acquisition will allow the company to expand, adding ACTA's offices in Torrance and Lompoc, California.

Advanced Core employs more than 260 people and has a national presence supporting programs within the aerospace and broader national security sectors.
