Chick-fil-A restaurants in Middle Georgia have partnered with local food banks to host a canned food drive the next two Wednesdays and participants get free food.
All customers who bring in at least three nonperishable food items between 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and Nov. 8 to one of 11 Chick-fil-A restaurants in Middle Georgia will receive their choice of either a free sandwich or eight-count nuggets, according to a news release. There is a limit to one free offer per person, per day, and participants must be present to redeem the free offer.
The participating restaurants are on Bass Road, Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard, Brookhaven Road, Zebulon Road and Bloomfield Road in Macon, Sam Nunn Boulevard in Perry, Watson Boulevard in Warner Robins, Ga. 96 in Bonaire, North Columbia Street in Milledgeville, Veterans Boulevard in Dublin and Watson Boulevard in Centerville.
The organizations receiving the food include Perry Volunteer Outreach in Perry, Chard Wray Food Pantry in Milledgeville, Laurens Baptist Ministry Center in Dublin, Sacred Heart Christian Service Center and Trinity Food Bank in Warner Robins, and Mid-State Baptist Association, Macon Rescue Mission, Macon Outreach and Loaves and Fishes in Macon.

“Our Chick-fil-A teams are thrilled to help our local food banks provide for the less fortunate,” Chick-fil-A area marketing director Aimee Lashley said in the release. “We want to reward our customers for supporting their community. We invite donors to enjoy some chicken on us while they support their neighbors in need.”
