Medical Center, Navicent Health, recognized for organ donation efforts

The Medical Center, Navicent Health, achieved platinum recognition by LifeLink of Georgia in a national campaign to promote organ, eye and tissue donation through enrollment in state organ donor registries.

The Medical Center conducted awareness and registration campaigns as part of the national Workplace Partnership for Life Hospital Campaign in order to educate staff, patients, visitors and community members about the critical need for organ, eye and tissue donors. By doing so, it assisted in increasing the number of potential donors on Georgia’s Organ and Tissue Donor Registry.

Nancy White joins Pilot International

Nancy White joined Pilot International as executive director. Pilot International is a community-based volunteer service organization founded in 1921 in Macon on the principles of friendship and service. Pilot encourages and provides opportunities for youth development & leadership.

American Pride Bank announces new hire, promotion

Selena Murph has joined American Pride Bank as the human resources officer and corporate secretary. She completed the Leadership Macon program in 2015. Also, Vik Patel has been promoted to senior vice president of the bank. He joined American Pride in June 2013 and has more than eight years of experience in the banking industry.

Trent Mathis recognized by real estate professionals group

Realtor Trent Mathis of The Mathis Group in Warner Robins has been recognized as one of the 10 Best Real Estate Professionals for client satisfaction for 2016 by the American Institute of Real Estate Professionals.

Professionals who are selected to the 10 Best list must pass the association's selection process, which is based on client and/or peer nominations, thorough research and its independent evaluation. One of the most significant aspects of the selection process involves the professionals' relationships and reputation among his or her clients.

Advanced Core Concepts appoints three to its board

William Vantine, Trase Travers and James Fugit have been appointed to the board of Warner Robins-based Advanced Core Concepts and its wholly-owned subsidiary International Logistics Group.

Vantine is the president and CEO of Systems Planning and Analysis Inc. and has more than 30 years of experience in the government and commercial sectors.

Travers has a background in managing and growing business entities operating in highly technical engineering and product development markets.

Fugit is co-founder and CEO of ARMA Aviation Corp. and is a former Army officer.

Advanced Core Concepts with its subsidiary is a small business dedicated to providing services to the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal government customers.
