Price joins TKDA Aviation; to lead Macon office

Stanley Price has joined TKDA Aviation as a senior registered engineer to lead the new TKDA office at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport in Macon. The office here will head operations in Georgia and eastern Alabama.

TKDA is a Minnesota-based employee-owned provider of engineering, architecture, and planning services to a broad range of public and private markets.

Prior to this move, Price oversaw engineering work at Middle Georgia Regional and Macon Downtown airports during the past four years. A professional engineer with more than 25 years of experience, Price has completed more than 100 aviation projects in Georgia and Alabama, including airport site design, runway and taxiway extensions and relocations, perimeter fencing, fuel facilities and hangar facilities. He also has extensive experience with residential and commercial site design and municipal utilities.

Three midstate long term care homes ranked as best in nation

Three Middle Georgia long term care homes made U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of the best nursing homes in the nation.

Church Home Rehabilitation and Healthcare between Perry and Fort Valley, Carlyle Place in Macon, and The Oaks in Marshallville were among 26 homes in Georgia recognized. There are 358 nursing homes certified by Georgia's Department of Community Health.

U.S. News evaluated more than 15,000 nursing homes nationwide.

Each nursing home receives an overall rating of one to five stars, with 2,005 facilities earning an overall rating of four and a half stars and above to qualify as a U.S. News Best Nursing Home.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate expands in Georgia

Success Realty of Warner Robins has been added to the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate international franchise network.

The newly named Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Success, led by managing broker Ethan Hutten, will maintain its Warner Robins office location, and continue to serve its core communities of Bonaire, Bryon, Centerville, Kathleen, Perry and Macon. Hutten serves as vice president of the Central Georgia Board of Realtors and is a member of other real estate associations.

Health Network certified by quality assurance group

Central Georgia Health Network in Macon recently became certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance in credentialing. Formed in 1996, Central Georgia Health Network is a clinically integrated network of more than 600 physicians, more than 300 allied health professionals and three hospital partners across Middle Georgia.

National Committee for Quality Assurance is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. It accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations. The certification is a voluntary review process.
