Warner Robins is about to get its fifth Zaxby’s restaurant.

The fast-casual eatery at 3100 Russell Parkway is expected to open next month, according to a news release from the Athens-based company.

With seating for 92, the 3,800-square-foot building will have Zaxby’s new farmhouse design, which rolled out last year.

“I’ve been involved with Zaxby’s for over nine years,” franchise owner Chad Oliver said in the release. “The biggest draw to the brand for me has always been the family-friendly atmosphere.”

Fifty employees from the local community have been hired for this location, Oliver said.

The restaurant serves prepared-at-order chicken a variety of ways, including wings, sandwiches and in salads.

There are currently four Zaxby’s in Warner Robins, and all existing restaurants would remain open when the new one opens, Ashley Miracle, public relations account manager, said in an email.

Founded in the 1990s, Zaxby’s has more than 700 stores in 17 states.
